Bwah, guess which anime series and anime movie I just got done watching all the way through twice!

Trigun. Indeed this show was very refreshing for me. It wasn't to long, nothing was over the top with it, the story was great, and I LOVE the old-school animation. Nothing flashy, no exaggerated lighting effects or whatever, just simple, dusty, layer by transparent layer animation. The sadness, action, and humor is balanced up until the very end, and the characters are well developed(that's this fans opinion anyway). Indeed, there wasn't much I didn't like about this anime.
I feel bad that I started it about a year ago, got to ep. 8, stopped for some odd reason, and failed to watch it again until now
Honestly, don't be swayed by the outfit and spiky hair. This is a good show for any anime fan, or if you're not yet an anime fan, this is a good show to start with If you DO start, at least make it too episode 6 before you think about quiting, it starts out slow and silly but develops a more serious plot through out.

So I made some fan art! I can't tell you how many times I re-sketched and redid the line art for this guy. Definitely wasn't a speed paint, thats for sure! It took me 2 nights and this morning to complete it; it was very fun! I used multiple references and 99% of the colors were pulled from screenshots. Even so, I'm sure I made at least one mistake while drawing Vash, most likely his boots.

I listened to what I could find of the Trigun soundtrack while making this for the heck of it [link] Favorite song would have to be Rakuen, my heart just sinks when I listen to that music.
