What is peace without war?
What is healing with no sore?
What is happiness without sadness?
What is sanity without madness?
In this way you are my brother,
You can't have one without the other.
Out in the open where we try to hide,
The truth is that we all are tied.
There are two sides to all we see,
To the caged bird to the flying free,
So a toast to all that is tainted and pure,
I am the sickness and you are my cure.

I haven't uploaded any poetry in a while so I thought I'd upload this, its a quick poem I wrote, stuffed in the basket next to my couch, forgot about it, and then just found it the other day on a piece of green construction paper.
