GoG Series Opening Themeby ~x-EBee-x

I really hope this works, I've never uploaded such a large flash file with music too dA before. Hopefully the music won't mess up, the motions of the animation should sync with it somewhat.

Whoo! I've finally complete the Opening Theme to my Guardians of Ga'Hoole Fan made Animated Series! Now I can finally start on the actual episode!

I actually cut out the beginning of this, which would have been the prologue (of Soren falling from the tree after three weeks out of the egg), because I didn't want to give away the entire beginning, which feels kind of rushed anyway.

Things I don't exactly like about this - Marilla's face is odd to me. I was lazy on the scene of Jutt and Grimble flying, that looks really weird and choppy, and I should have made there bodies/heads move some perhaps. I was VERY DUMB when animating the close up of Skench's eye, it looks sloppy even though it took forever to animate because I did it the stupid way. When the beak is rolling the egg up the hill, it doesn't look like its pushing it as much as I had hoped(Though the egg itself I am very pleased with~). And Soren and Gylfie slide as they walk at the very end because I was lazy and reused the same Gylfie walk cycle as in the beginning, and reused the same feet to make Soren walk.

OTHER WISE, I am VERY PROUD Of this! Even though its just the beginning theme, I feel very accomplished. I've also gotten much more efficient and speedy, so I'll be moving a lot faster from now on I feel with this project. Once I get the ENTIRE thing complete, I might go back and redo the parts I'm unhappy with, but for now I just want to get things done. Especially since this is also going to be my senior project!

_{OH And those glowy-eyed black things at the end when Soren and Gylfie are marching that look like they came out of a Miyazaki movie are supposed to be moonblinked owlets.}

Lastly, I just want to say the idea for having the book's cover at the end was taken from the SSSwarriorcats Fan Animation on YouTube, which has always been a huge inspiration to me, and gave me the motivation to start this thing to begin with. They placed the book cover in the beginning of they're opening theme, which you can see here - [link]

I've watched this a lot, but I just noticed: when the beak is rolling the egg up the hill, it says "A Fan Animaton" not "A Fan Animation."

Just curious, I know you mentioned before that you weren't quite sure about adding voices. Is that still a pending idea?

It is a pending idea that I'm leaning towards if I ever continue on this personal project - college stealing all of my free time and what not. I would like to finish this, but the whole thing is up in the air right now.
