E.Bee

I've had this concept for a long long long-butt time, but haven't really taken it seriously until now so all previous attempts weren't fruitful. The idea was to make a logo in the shape of a bee using the letters in "EBee". Hopefully, you'll be able to see it The bee is made of three lowercase 'e's and one capital 'B'. In the first draft sketches, I showed them to my mom she said she saw one e, a B, and two Ds, so hopefully I fixed that problem. Mostly the issue was the legs being black, and the original sketch being vertical instead of horizontal. I tried to change the color on the legs so it would flow with the shape of the e instead of cutting off like a separate segment so the illusion would stay and I could keep the black legs.

What do you think, was this a success? Any suggestions to improve?

And, as a requirement of the contest, I need to explain how this logo represents me, so hurr I go~

_{Way back when I was younger, my mom suggested I give myself a pen-name/artist-name. If I remember correctly, she was the one who came up with idea for "EBee" or we came up with it together, I can't exactly recall. My initials are E.B, and in representation of my love for all animals, the word "Bee" was combined, resulting in EBee. It's been my artist name ever since and my most commonly used username on the internet, beginning with Myspace(LOL) and then Wetpaint, and now, of course, my Deviant art. Because "Bee" was apart of my artist name, I came up with the idea of creating a logo in the shape of a bee using the letters in "EBee" a very long time a go but never committed to the idea aside from a few doodles. This contest has motivated me to develop it further, and this is what the final result turned out to be. I'm pretty happy with it : D}
